The Farm Generations Cooperative team is excited to share with our fellow farmers and GrownBy users that we have won the 2025 Pitch Session award from the Regenerative Food Systems Investment Forum!
About Regenerative Food Systems Investment
The Regenerative Food Systems Investment group aims to mobilize capital from a diverse group of funders and stakeholders for projects centered around regenerative food and agriculture. Part of their core values also includes amplifying education and tools that communicate the financial, ecological, and social benefits of investments in a regenerative food system.
Recognizing that agriculture can be one of the greatest contributors to climate change, biodiversity loss, and soil degradation, RFSI’s goal is to address the climate, environmental, and economic issues associated with agriculture- ultimately creating healthier and more resilient food systems. The Regenerative Food Systems Investment Forum occurs internationally every year in the United States, Europe, and Canada. Alongside the learning of new technology and innovative practices, the event also facilitates connections between farmers, emerging start-ups, and investors committed to advancing their objectives.
GrownBy Wins RFSI Pitch Session Award
Our CEO and co-founder, Lindsey Lusher Shute, had the opportunity to present on GrownBy at the 2025 United States forum held in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The pitch session, Agriculture & Health: Solving Global Health Challenges with Agricultural and Food Interventions, was created in response to rising global rates of chronic disease and cancer. RFSI hosted this competition to find organizations working to combat these challenges, acknowledging that investment in our agriculture and food systems is a critical part of the solution. We're proud to say that GrownBy won the pitch competition against three other finalists, winning further funding to support our team and mission.
