GrownBy 3.9.3 is here and it's shaped almost entirely by what you — the farmers running this platform with us — have been asking for. Gift-able farm credit. One schedule, many drop sites. Inventory edits from your phone while you're still in the field. More specific reports and label filters. Bigger custom share orders.
Every feature in 3.9.3 is here to do one thing: give you back time, and increase your farm's sales. Here's what's new.
Gift great food: Customers can now Gift Farm Credit
Your customers can now buy Farm Credit for friends and family right at checkout. They select "gift," and the credit goes to the recipient — who becomes a new farm customer. Holidays, birthdays, new-parent meal support, thank-yous to a neighbor: all of it now converts into a direct channel to your farm.
Fulfillment, filtered exactly the way you want it
The Fulfillment page now lets you print reports, labels, and sign-in sheets for just the Product, Product Type, Producer, or Catalog you care about. No more printing fifty pages to find the six lines you need. Packing gets faster. Paper gets less. Mistakes get fewer.
Finalize All Your Orders at Once
We received quite a bit of feedback on Order Editing and made numerous updates. The Order Editor is improved on mobile and desktop, and you can now more easily find and Finalize All orders together. An important note is that Orders are not finalized immediately, but will be Finalized together within a short time period. Finalize was previously called Fulfill.
Your farm, in your pocket: Order & Inventory Editing on mobile
We rebuilt the order editor for mobile, and added a new Edit Inventory feature on the Products page that lets you update stock across multiple items at once. Change a customer's order from the tailgate. Drop a crop from availability when the last case walks out of the market. No more "I'll fix it when I'm back at the computer."
Custom shares that shop the whole store
After customizing their share, shoppers are now invited to browse your whole store — with new Custom Share Choice badges making it clear what's included and what isn't. This is in addition to numerous other improvements for Custom Share farms to improve the customer experience and increase order sizes.
One delivery day, every stop: Multiple locations per schedule
GrownBy now supports multiple locations on a single schedule. If you run a Saturday route with three drop sites, that's one schedule — not three. Less admin on your side, clearer choices for your customers, fewer spreadsheets on the clipboard.
Notifications for improved workflow
Notifications have been redesigned across the Marketplace and the Farmer Dashboard so messages are easier to find — and harder to miss — whether you're shopping the marketplace or running your farm. You can easily click from notifications right into Orders for quick actions.
SNAP farms, more visible and better supported
SNAP-enabled farms now get a profile badge so EBT shoppers can spot you at a glance. We've also delayed payments for customers paying with EBT to the first pickup to guarantee compliance.
Wholesale, even less friction
Adding wholesale customers is now easier across the board, and chefs and buyers without accounts can more easily access their new accounts. That means fewer drop-off points between "interested" and "PO sent," and a real path to grow your wholesale channel without adding admin work.
Reports that explain themselves
You can now export your schedules for review, and every report on the Reports page has a clearer description of what's inside. GrownBy offers the most transparent and powerful reports in the business.
