We’re thrilled to announce GrownBy 3.8.5 — featuring the launch of our Wholesale Marketplace. Now farms across the U.S. and Canada can sell wholesale directly to buyers, while buyers gain an easier way to source from local producers. Alongside Wholesale, this release delivers major upgrades to delivery fees, notifications, and order tools — making it simpler than ever to buy or sell local food.
GrownBy Wholesale — Now Open to All US & Canadian Farmers
Wholesale is now out of the Co-op Beta — and any U.S. or Canadian farm can enroll today. Our new Wholesale Marketplace at wholesale.grownby.com is built exclusively for wholesale farms and invited wholesale buyers. It works much like our retail marketplace at grownby.com, but with dedicated tools to streamline bulk ordering, payments, and logistics.
Along with a dedicated shopping area for wholesale buyers, we’ve added numerous features to make wholesale buying and selling easier than ever:
Dedicated Wholesale Shop – Share your wholesale shop only with invited chefs, retailers, institutions and other wholesale buyers.
Approve & Edit Orders – Review and adjust every wholesale order before fulfillment.
Editable Distribution Dates & Locations – Enjoy complete flexibility in changing order logistics.
Payment Terms – Set your farm’s payment terms from the time of fulfillment.
Autopay – Let GrownBy automatically process online payments on the due date — no chasing payments.
Improved Shopping Experience – A new all-farm marketplace makes it easy for wholesale buyers to discover your products.
Robust Buyer Support – Institutional buyers can share purchasing accounts with others in their company for smoother group ordering.

Delivery & Order Management Made Easier
Delivery fees reworked – Farmers can now include delivery charges directly on invoices so customers can pay completely in advance.
Fulfillment page upgrade – Formerly “Distributions,” this page is faster, includes a new “Pick List” export, and now lets you filter by Catalog. The Sign-in app can now be found below Fulfillment in the main menu.
Order Creator upgrades – Add optional fees or digital products and enjoy improved design and performance.
Rescheduling flexibility – Farm Admins have more options to reschedule deliveries to any available pickup.
Editable delivery addresses – Farmers and shoppers can update addresses and apply changes to all future orders.
Easier Invoicing & Bookkeeping
Expanded Invoice exports include more payment data for faster reconciliation.
Custom Email & Notification Preferences
Farm Admin notification controls – Choose which notifications you receive and set customer preferences
