Through a generous USDA grant, we launched the “CSA in NYC” initiative, in collaboration with JustFood and GrowNYC. aimed at expanding access to Community Supported Agriculture and fresh, local food in urban communities. An investment like this signals that government agencies see our local growers as essential, and view GrownBy as a scalable, effective model for connecting growers with eaters across the country. We’re honored to have been selected by the American Heart Association’s Social Impact Funds as one of four organizations working to build food security and economic resiliency with support from a $2M grant from the Grubhub Community Fund.
This funding will help power GrownBy’s innovative technology for small farms and strengthens our mission to create a healthier, more equitable food system — especially in communities where access to nutritious food and economic opportunity is limited. Learn more.
Place Partners is a place-based venture fund and business accelerator dedicated to fostering sustainable growth and innovation in local communities. The Hudson Valley Venture Hub (HVVH) is Hudson Valley's Innovation Hot Spot designation that aims to accelerate scalable startups in the Hudson Valley Region.
Founded in 2018 at the SUNY New Paltz School of Business, HVVH serves as a resource and central node that builds connective tissue among the region’s entrepreneurial and startup ecosystem.

Point of Sale (POS) System. An accessible POS will simplify in-person sales at local farmers markets so growers can feed more customers, and shoppers can quickly and easily purchase fresh, whole foods.
Wholesale Marketplace. We partnered with the renowned Culinary Institute of America (CIA) to launch a wholesale marketplace on GrownBy alongside our direct-to-consumer market farmers to ensure more farm-fresh, local ingredients are used in more commercial kitchens across North America. Learn more.
